Hi! My name is Nancy, I'm 15, and I have been chosen to attend the World Scout Jambouree in Gdansk, Poland in 2027. The World Scout Jamboree happens once every four years and is incredibly difficult to get chosen for. It is where Scouts from all over the World come together for three weeks, learning from each other and connecting with other cultures. I have been through an interview and a weekend long selection camp, and now we are onto training camps, all of which cost a lot of money. This is important to me because I have never done anything like this before. I joined Scouts in January 2025 and since then I've been thrown into so many incredible oppourtunites such as the Jamboree. I have already made lifelong friends and learnt things about myself that I didn't know before. The Jamboree is very expensive and the funds will be used to help me pay for the trip and also help me buy all the necessarry kit I need (because there is a lot of kit).
