Fundraising For Jed

Jed is an inspiring young man who recently graduated year 12 at Henley High School studying Biology, PE, Business, both Mathematic Methods and Research Project last year and Physics which was dropped this year. Jed was diagnosed with a brain tumour on the 5th of June and went in for surgery on the 8th. Surgery took 7 hours and had to be stopped due to blood pressure issues, resulting in tumour remaining. The swelling and nerve damage as a result of the surgery has had a dramatic effect on Jed’s everyday life limiting activities that we all take for granted. Jed may take months or years to recover.
Throughout this process Jed has spent countless hours in rehabilitation, as well as regular trips to the doctors to see how he is progressing, plus many set backs and emergency room visits along the way. This year Jed has been unable to attends his mates 18th’s, play soccer, schoolies and his family has unfortunately cancelled a trip to the USA, which was to be an end of Year 12 celebration. As well as his license being suspended until he passes a medical test.
The main thing Jed misses is his independence and all money raised will go directly towards helping him gain that back. Jed is an extremely brave young man, who has taken this in his stride with a determination to get the job done and we are all looking forward to his recovery. Any donation is welcome.

My name is Keon and I am a former student at Henley High School. I have known Jed for a few years from being in the same classes at Henley and through social events. All funds will go directly towards Jed and his recovery, and they will be transfered to him directly for him and his family to use at their discloser.
