Fundraiser for Westside Daycare Flooding Disaster!

Greetings to all!

I am a former graduate of Westside Infant Daycare & Teen Parent Program. I was a teen mom when my daughter was enrolled in this program where it provided childcare along with life resources and parenting counseling for me and fellow young parents. I’m so thankful for this program to have helped provide a safe space for my daughter when I was juggling finishing college, while working, and learning to become a young mom. I’m happy to say I’m now an a successful graduate of Westside to now being an NP, and my daughter is a freshman in college!

However, I’m here to ask for your help. Unfortunately, last week, Westside Infant Daycare & Teen Parent Program in Englewood, NJ suffered a devastating flooding that destroyed everything within the daycare! Cribs, toys, books, and furniture for the children were all ruined. The daycare has yet to reopen due to water damage and now renovations. This daycare and program is funded through grants to be able to provide teen parents with cost effective childcare for their kids. Right now, our young parents are struggling for an affordable daycare for their children. The daycare still is under intense repairs from the flood with little to work with financially.

We are kindly asking for any donations at this time for the repairs and reopening of Westside Infant Daycare. Our parents in the teen program need the childcare for their kids, and any monetary or drop off donations for the repair of this daycare is very much appreciated.
