Fundraiser for Jackie Adams

If you don’t know her… you should. Jackie is such a wonderful, kind and caring person. Exactly the kind of person who deserves a good life and to be cancer free! Unfortunately this amazing woman has been fighting a fight many of us know too well. Jackie, unexpectedly, was diagnosed with cancer that had started in her appendix. Within weeks, it has grown and has been categorized as Stage 4 class 3. In the last few weeks she has been rushed into surgery and had her appendix, part of her colon, ovaries and two tumours the doctors described as “cantaloupe size tumours” surgically removed. They have told us that they were only able to safely remove 70% of the cancer that has developed so quickly in Jackie’s abdomen. She has a long road ahead and a big fight coming to try and beat it and continue on as the wonderful mother of two children, sister/daughter/family/friend to us all. Jackie has always been such a selfless person. She works above and beyond for her colleagues at Chorus, Jazz and JTS. I wanted to start a fund for Jackie to help her through this very trying time. Every little bit helps. I know Jackie to be so giving and helpful to so many others and I know we all agree that she deserves our help in a fight she doesn’t. We appreciate anything we can give to Jackie to make life just a little easier when such chaos occurs. Even if just a prayer, hello or “thinking of you” would mean the world to her I know. We all stand beside Jackie and wish her better days and will fight cancer until it has been beat. Thank you all so very much from the bottom of our hearts.
