Hello everyone, it is with great sadness that the world recently lost one of its best people, Damian Sobol, in a drone attack in Gaza while delivering food aid for World Central Kitchen, alongside 6 of his fellow colleagues. Thanks to Damian, WCK was able to successfully construct a makeshift port in Gaza to deliver hundreds of tons of aid through the maritime corridor.

Anyone who knew Damian knows he had the biggest heart and was one of the most kind, humble, and generous people in the world. A true hero.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out here, through GoFundme. David and Trish had the honor of working alongside Damian with WCK in Poland, Turkey, Morocco & this Gaza operation and with David’s own NGO, delivering generators to shelters and hospitals in Ukraine. David will be personally matching the first $10,000 donated and ensure all funds are delivered directly to his family during this tragic loss.
