Fundraiser: Displaced Women & Children in Tigray

It's hard to imagine living through war, experiencing life in a war-torn country or even the courage required to pick up the pieces in its aftermath.
Right now, there is a war taking place in Ethiopia.
Since November 3rd, 2020, the Ethiopian federal government and the Tigray government have been in harsh conflict, which will not only exasperate the current ethnic violence in the country, but also has the potential to destabilize the horn of Africa.
As of November 24th, 40, 000 people have fled Tigray and are now displaced in Sudan's Gedarif and Kassala states. This includes Tigreans and Eritrean refugees within Tigray. This number is expected to rise to over 200, 000 in the coming weeks.
The international community and diaspora is working hard to shine a light on what is taking place and supporting organizations that are doing the work in Ethiopia and neighbouring regions to ensure that people's basic human needs are met.
