Run 4 Phil Donaldson

A quick update from Phil

One of my best mates, Phil Donaldson was recently involved in a tragic car accident in New Zealand whilst visiting friends and family back home.

The car he was in left the road, flipped and he was trapped inside. With the help of friends and first responders, Phil survived the crash and was airlifted to Middlemore Hospital in Auckland where he has been receiving some of the best care in the Spinal Unit.

He has been left paralysed and has suffered significant damage to his spinal cord, specifically at the C4 vertebrae and has had to have his leg amputated.

He is now undergoing rehab treatment and with time, hoping to have some movement in his arms.

Phil is an absolute legend. I've known him for almost 20 years and he would do anything for me and anyone that needs help.

Today, he needs us.

So on September 2nd 2023, I'll be racing a 100km ultramarathon from Eastbourne to Arundel in the UK. This race has more than 2100m of elevation and is hosted on stunning but unforgiving South Downs.

Having completed another ultramarathon earlier this year, I know it will be a tough challenge, but no doubt, I will complete it.

I'm asking for your help, so we can get him the support he needs.

I know times are tough for people, but even the smallest donation will make a difference.
