Larah B., 13, lost her parents...
Donation protected
13 year old Larah and her mother were driving to school on a two-lane highway when a driver fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into them head-on. Larah suffered a broken wrist, and her mother passed away at the scene. She also lost her father several years ago, and has been through so much in her short lifetime. In spite of everything, she has put on a brave face- and it breaks my heart to see such a beautiful soul go through so much suffering.
Larah has been my student for two years and my goddaughter since November. I'm making this fund with her grandmother's blessing to support her in her general expenses, including her music lessons. Larah is one of the most gifted people I have ever known- intellectually and musically. I have watched her grow into such faith and maturity over the years-- she desires nothing more than to use her talents for God, and has been such a blessing to our school and community. She is dedicated to sharing her Christian music and is skilled at singing, guitar, piano, and drums- playing in our student ensemble every week. She constantly contributes her time and talents to a wide variety of causes-including the local Homeless Coalition- and serving as Vice President at Givetochange. She evangelizes in both word and action in everything she does, giving all the glory to God with great humility.
No one should have to go through so much tragedy- especially at such a young age. I hope that this fund can help her heal by supporting her in the things that she loves. Anything you can donate, however small, would be a great blessing to her and her family.
