A plea for Victor's tragic burns recovery in ICU
Spende geschützt

Victor Garces - international student from Colombia
Our dearest friend Victor, who has a very sweet heart, compassion and always take care of those closest to him.
A sad and tragic end to a bad year 2020.
Victor suffered burns to his upper body, back and torso by falling down onto a campfire on the 29th of December. He was flown by ambulance helicopter from Grampians National Park to Melbourne (typically a 3 hour drive by road) where he is now in ICU undergoing skin grafts and other procedures to treat his wounds.
He is an international student in Melbourne, Australia. Most of international students have struggled to pay living costs and tuition fees since covid-19 situation. Victor will now be unable to work for sometime. He has tuition fees due, rent fee, as well as bridging visa fees. The helicopter ride alone will be costly, potentially up towards $26,852. Victor does have mandatory student health cover but it's scope is very limited.
He has been unconscious for a week due to heavy dosing to avoid extreme pain. He has only just been able to see and recognise his friends visiting him. His Mother in Colombia has no chance to see her boy at this time and is in great distress. His girlfriend is in Japan, they had planned to reunite December 2020 but due to covid restrictions this could not happen. Now while his girlfriend wishes so much to visit him she cannot arrive in Australia at this moment.
His mind is healthy, but his body will remind him of this tragedy for the rest of his life. If we can take care of the financial side of things it will release a great burden from him, his Mum, his Girlfriend, friends and family.
As we set this prayerful intention through faith in humanity we believe a bright future will manifest for Victor. We thank you dearly from the depths of our hearts for any assistance towards his recovery. We are all one, there is no separation. Praise this life and the mystery of our universe which brings us all back into alignment.
