Hello friends,

I've never opened a GoFundMe before, but I feel this is the time to open one.

My friend and co-worker, Yaw Wiredu, has family in Ghana who needs his help.

His brother normally takes care of his aging mother in Ghana. Recently, his brother underwent a liver transplant in London, and he's having complications from the surgery.

This leaves his aging mother alone. Yaw, being the amazing person and family man that he is, needs to travel to help his mother.

Yaw is very proud and never asks for anything at work. He wants to take care of everything himself. Well, he came to me today and asked if he can take personal time to take care of his mom. He happened to mention the stress this is having on his home life financially and also having to leave his wife and daughter at home for an extended time.

Knowing Yaw, I know this was very difficult for him to come to me with this. I want to do all I can to help relieve some of this burden. So I'm humbly asking for any donations you can provide to get him a round trip ticket to see his mom.
