Nate relief funds for Nicaragua
Our nature lover's paradise of Popoyo Nicaragua and its surrounding communities have been devastated by Tropical Storm Nate . There were no warnings or alarms to inform the people of Nicaragua the devastation that would lie ahead. They were caught off guard and were unable to prepare for the sudden intensification of 12 hours of continuous pounding rain, winds, and swollen rivers. At least 15 confirmed deaths in Nicaragua and many still missing. They don't expect power or internet anytime soon; however, as spotty cell phone signals improve they are beginning to realize the extensive damage through impactful photos shared by others. Nicawaves.com received minimal damage and will recover quickly so they can continue to help those in need. The families, employees and guests are all safe; however, many of Nicawaves employees and their families have lost homes, loved ones and personal possessions.[local communities under water]
My name is Chal Lester from Myrtle Beach, SC where my heart and soul is invested in the people and families of Nicaragua, who have over the past decade, have opened their homes and hearts to me and my family and I would like to show my gratitude and give back. Please help me and share this so we we can raise funds and awareness for these people. I greatly appreciate your time and consideration and any amount of donation will help. All proceeds will go back to Nicaragua to rebuild and restore! I will be responsible for withdrawals in my name and bank account and am working with Michael Dennison of Nicawaves to disperse funds directly to the people and areas that need help. Check out www.nicawaves.com for any updates. Thanks![Local Road to Local Beaches on Tola]
