Help Beverly’s Church Towards Ministries & Events

Hello. I’m Beverly and I’m trying to raise money for my church to help with the community outreach programs and many ministries it provides.   

My church serves the community in many ways through its ministries, such as, serving families in need with food and clothing distribution. The church also holds events and festivities in addition to providing educational resources—all free to the community. The community would be at a great loss if this church goes away. 

I asked an Elder of the church to contribute the following history (below in quotes):

“Even though we are a small congregation we have a bunch of ministries that really support the community, such as: a clothing distribution program, a food pantry that feeds over 400 families per month; we have self-defense classes for teenagers, we offer grief counseling, there is a budding LGBT talk group and an AA group in formation, even the Junior ROTC use the facilities. The church also holds musical events and cultural festivities to honor our different traditions; in addition to providing educational resources —and everything is free to the community! And on top of all that, all year long we try to provide a large homeless population in the area with food, water, clothing, care supplies and even gifts on Mother’s Day and Christmas. 

I could tell you lots more but in summary, I just want to say that I love my church, I love our neighborhood, and I believe in the work we do; our different ministries, our influence on the community, the long standing history of our presence, the quality of the word that is being preached each week, the lives that are being affected, the souls that are being saved, the sense of family that is fostered, the kids that are being helped, the elderly that are being fed, the homeless that are never forgotten, and the different groups that are being impacted with God’s love and all of that is still worth fighting for to preserve.
