We hope this message finds you and your family healthy and safe during this ongoing public health emergency. With schools and all non-essential businesses closed in Massachusetts, we hope most of us can adapt to the new norm: practice enough social distancing and enjoy precious family time.
As one of the most active and well-organized not-for-profit professional organizations in the New England pharmaceutical hub, in the past SAPA-NE has successfully organized and hosted many influential conferences and events, thus has a far outreach in the pharmaceutical community. One of our most anticipated events, our Annual Conference, draws distinguished leaders from industry, regulatory agencies and academia, and hundreds of attendants. Yet due to the nature of COVID-19, the health risk to our SAPA community will not proceed with our once-scheduled 2020 Annual Conference. In this regard, we will send further notice soon.
In facing this unprecedented crisis, we are determined to extending our mission far beyond: while our scientists work hard to find a cure or vaccine for COVID 19, tens of thousands of people in the U.S. and across the global fall ill, doctors and nurses all over the country are struggling to save lives under enormous pressure with inadequate PPE protection for their own health. This is the time for us to stay strong, to lean on each other, and to honor our shared responsibility.
After diligent discussion, we, SAPA-NE, decided to propose and collect donations among our members, and funnel the fund for uses that benefit local hospitals and healthcare centers. Should you share the mission with us, please follow this link to proceed with donation. We set our goal of $50,000 and will match your donation as an organization*, to maximize our voice as Chinese-heritage professionals. Thank you for your generosity and every penny is greatly appreciated.

*SAPA-NE's match limit is $5,000. SAPA-NE would match the rest of contributions to reach $5,000 if it is not met.
