We are so thankful for the support of our family and friends since Jenny’s cancer diagnosis in June of 2023. We began this journey as a Stage 1B most curable breast cancer case. As the months progressed we were given little to no hope for curing Jenny and longevity. After being told “be happy that we are estimating quality of life for 5 years now, it used to only be 2-3 years for individuals with cases like Jenny’s.”

As we have found our new doctor team in California, we are not only thankful for Jenny’s healing progress and God’s guidance in every step. We are appreciative of everyone’s prayers, financial support, and all the other ways you have loved on our family and continue to do so. We are currently in negotiations with our insurance to have some of Jenny’s medical costs covered, but they are not looking likely to pay much, if any. You can imagine this has left a bigger load than we expected.

Our journey is only partially complete once Jenny comes home mid April of 2024. We still have a long road ahead of us with weekly treatments here locally and many trips back to California for additional treatments and follow-ups. These are to ensure that the cancer remains dead and the terrain of her body is in good health so the cancer cannot return.
