Hi my name is Summa, I'm a single mum of 3 boys and I'm raising funds for a portable defibrillator for my 9 year old son who has just been diagnosed with Long QT Syndrome (a rare heart condition that causes fainting, seizures and cardiac arrest).

If a serious event was to occur having a portable defibrillator on hand would save his life.

As a mother this is not the best news and I'm now worried all the time wondering if my son is okay and hoping that he never has to endure a serious, life threatening episode but if I was to have a portable defibrillator, it would ease my mind just a tiny bit knowing that I would be able to save him with this device.
