Help Adan Chase His Dreams

Hi, my name is Amanda, and I’m raising funds to support my 8-year-old son, Adan, in pursuing the sports he loves.

Adan is the kind of kid who amazes me every day. He’s naturally talented — he can pick up a new sport and instantly shine, whether it’s tennis, soccer, jiu-jitsu, or riding his bike. But what makes me most proud isn’t just his skill, it’s his heart. He’s sweet, kind, and always willing to help, whether it’s at home, at school, or on the field.

As many of you know, I’m raising him on my own. I work full-time in the medical field, and I’m also going to school to build a better future for us. It isn’t easy — between work, classes, and being a mom, every day is a balancing act. And while I don’t receive financial support from his dad, I’ve made peace with that. For my own sanity, I’d rather put my energy into building my son up than chasing someone down for help.

I’ll be honest: asking for help like this is one of the hardest things for me to do. I’m very independent, and if you know me, you know it takes a lot for me to reach out like this. It’s embarrassing in some ways, but my love for my kids outweighs my pride. I’ll do anything to keep Adan’s dreams alive.

Sports are more than hobbies for him — they give him joy, discipline, confidence, and a safe space to grow. They’re teaching him lessons about hard work, teamwork, and perseverance that will shape the rest of his life. I don’t want money to be the reason he ever has to stop doing what he loves.
