Hello, I hope everyone is doing well and safe. My name is Khader, I am from Gaza and this is a fundraiser for my children and family. I am a father of 8 children (we are a family of 10) and My brother's family is a total of 6. We are from Gaza and our families in Gaza are currently enduring a genocide, one that we never thought we’d witness or experience. It has claimed the lives of loved ones and continues to threaten our families’ lives and livelihoods. As well we have lost our homes are gone and during our time in Gaza we have been displaced so many times looking for Safety. Even though we are in Egypt currently but after what we have been through we want to be with our families and feel safe with them.

Amidst our desperate attempts to secure safety for our families, I am currently in the process of trying to get a humanitarian parol, while waiting in Egypt, there are a lot of expenses that need to be covered. ,

Unfortunately, at this time, there is no humanitarian crisis fund available to cover the financial cost of our applications, transport, and stay in Egypt. I am asking everyone to help us with the responsibility of covering all the costs to bring our families to safety and help us to keep a roof over our heads while we are staying in Egypt.

We have created this fundraising campaign to appeal to our friends, family, and community to help us bring our families here.

We are applying for 16 members of my immediate family – 2 family units – to sponsor their stay in Egypt, but the financial costs are enormous!! and amidst the absence of a humanitarian response to the crisis, we have no option but to seek support from our community. You are our only hope. We lost our home, school, and our city :( My children are looking forward to your help and hope to get back to school and live a normal like every child.

The estimated costs we are fundraising for – per person – include:

* Visa application fees: $575

* Passport fees: $300

* Document translation: $200

*Flights Tickets: $1000-$1200

Total estimated costs leading up $2,075 per person

Additionally, as we are not permitted to work in Egypt as we are awaiting the approval for our application;

we estimate the costs of each family’s stay in Egypt for six months - per family - include:

* Minimum living costs $5,000 for each Family

* Personal effects $1,000

* international health insurance $1,000

This adds a minimum of $25,000per family for their six-month stay

While we attempt to raise these funds to provide some hope and immediate relief for my family, we continue to advocate for an immediate and lasting ceasefire and a humanitarian crisis scheme to support all Palestinians in Gaza.
