Hi everyone

My name is Swapnali, and I’m reaching out with a full heart to ask for support in bringing my beloved cat, Lainey, home to me.

Lainey is more than just a pet, she’s my constant, my comfort, and my family. She came into my life during one of the lowest and most difficult periods I’ve ever experienced. At a time when everything felt overwhelming and uncertain, Lainey was there , quietly grounding me, giving me routine, warmth, and a reason to keep going. In many ways, it is because of her that I was able to hold on and keep my sanity.

I recently moved from Boston to Belfast to pursue my studies, and I have just graduated. During this transition, Lainey has been lovingly cared for by my close friend in Boston. While I am deeply grateful for that support, being separated from her has been emotionally very hard, she has always been my home, and life without her beside me feels incomplete.

Unfortunately, international pet relocation costs are extremely high, especially between the U.S. and the UK. Between veterinary requirements, health certificates, airline-approved travel, and compliance checks, the total cost has become overwhelming, particularly as a recent graduate and international student rebuilding after a big move.

My deepest wish is to reunite with Lainey and give her the safe, loving home she deserves here in Belfast
