Friendship Circle 58 Mile Ultra Marathon

We have one life to give and create as much opportunity as we can for ourselves and others.

On September 7, 2024, I'll be running 58 miles straight for the Friendship Circle. On November 3, I'll be running the NYC Marathon to raise $10,000 for children struggling with special needs willing and able to learn life skills.

The opportunity to work with this organization, put my mind and body on the line in its honor is a meaningful opportunity to push myself. The organization is on a mission to integrate people into society with integrity and purpose. A noble cause I will always stand behind.

The 58 Mile Ultramarathon will be done without headphones or walking. I'll be running around Englewood, Tenafly, Teaneck, and Leonia, where the Ultramarathon will conclude.

Why 58?

The number 5 represents 'Hamsa' showing the right hand: representing power and strength as a sign of protection. The number is a long standing 'lucky' number in my family that I will be honoring as part of this run.

When we build purpose into our lives, we find ways to rise to the occasion. 50 miles is scary, adding the extra 8 miles makes it that extra bit that scares me that much more.

The NYC Marathon is an incredible marathon hosted by the greatest city in the world. After we set a goal, the follow up is arguably harder than the initial challenge. To keep momentum, I'll be running the NYC Marathon for the Friendship Circle as well to total 84.2 miles!
