Margie's Friends Help Out

Margie Gaines has been a hard-working dedicated research diet technician at the Children’s Nutrition Research Center in Houston TX for many years. Until recently, she also worked part time at Texas Children’s Hospital both in nutrition research and in the main kitchen. Many people in the CNRC and at TCH know Margie and know her to be a kind and helpful person. Margie was planning to retire in September this year after over 40 years of work. Unfortunately, Margie recently found out she has cancer and is now faced with surgery and treatments, as well as high medical bills. Because of her diagnosis and medical expenses, she may have to delay her retirement.
