Friends to the Rescue - in Support of Sarah & Ali

Raising Funds for Sarah & Ali

On October 7th, Ali was complaining of stomach pain, Sarah left work and rushed to be by his side, and upon her arrival, the ambulance was there with Ali on a stretcher!
I am happy to report that he has had a surgery to repair the perforation in his stomach/bowel.  He will remain in hospital for the next 2-3 days, but recovery is expected to take a month!  They are also in the process of moving!!  Talk about stress!

Anything you can manage will be helpful.

They are still newlyweds Their new apartment is really their first place that they’ve gotten together. Unfortunately circumstances forced them to have to pay first & last at their new place, while still paying the current rent where they are.

This hiccup of surgery has thrown them for a loop. They have been actively pursuing Ali’s permanent residency here in Canada, but we all know how that goes. This means that despite the urgency of this surgery, Ali is NOT covered by OHIP.

They need our support in a number of areas;

Moving - date & details pending

- they are scheduled to move into their own place this month-Ali is expected to be out of commission for the next month. They currently have possession of their new unit, but are still in their old place.

I have Sarah’s permission to create this and the go fund me, but she won’t be part of the group.
