Friends of Hank

We are Marlee MacLeod and Jennifer McGehee. Our dear, irreplaceable friend Hank Morgan recently met with an accident which caused irreversible trauma to his brain and subsequent death.  He is being taken from us quite suddenly and thus there are unexpected expenses arising around making sure that his affairs are seen to. We’d give you a list now but they haven’t all arisen yet. We will keep records of what goes where, and when the time comes that everything is taken care of we will donate whatever might be left to an animal welfare charity, as that’s the only kind we can be absolutely certain Hank would approve of.

We especially want to make absolutely sure that, no matter what, his beloved dogs Horace and Virgil receive whatever they need for the rest of their lives. Others are seeing to their immediate needs but we hope they have long, happy lives and we want to provide for that. 

We set the goal for this fund at a rather arbitrary $10,000 but expect that Hank’s friends will blow the roof off that in short order. We’re asking you to trust us with that. We have no immediate way of proving we’re beyond reproach when it comes to money, but we are both somewhat awkward women who don’t lie very well at all, so there’s that. And we loved Hank Morgan. And we know you did, too. So whatever needs doing, we’re going to get it done.
