Freddie’s emergency vet fees

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love my cat Freddie and on 14th May I got home from work to find him really poorly. A trip to the emergency vets and I was quoted £4k to treat his blocked bladder or I’d have to put him down, and as he’s only 2 I couldn’t do this. I obviously chose to get him treated but at a hefty cost.

The total price has come out as less than what they initially quoted me but has still around £2.5-3k and used up most my emergency savings and he will need to be on a special diet and possibly lifelong medications to prevent this from happening again. I’m terrified it might it happen again and the possibilities of what will happen if I can’t pay for it.

A couple of people suggested setting this up because I had to pay it all outright with no option for a payment plan of any sort. Any tiny contribution would be more than welcome from both me and Freddie xx
