Hello, my name is Monete Hicks. I am the mother and caregiver of my late daughter Mychaela Francis 23, and son Byron Francis 20. Unfortunately, their lives were shortened due to contact with coronavirus. Bryon passed away on June 27th and within 11 days on July 8th my beloved daughter passed from complications of coronavirus. The funds I raise will be used to pay for Home Going Services, and to celebrate my babies’ lives. I will be acting as their beneficiary with the help of my darling niece Tanra Washington in their passing.

Mychaela also affectionately known Kayla Pretty Barbie, was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, auntie, and friend who was always willing to listen and give advice. Her short life was spent serving others as her servitude attitude was a blessing to have.
 
Bryon was known for having a passionate love for us. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend. Byron was our “Big Teddy Bear." His smile could light up a room.
 
They were both amazing young adults, and with your help, we can give them a beautiful funeral. All donations are going directly to funeral expenses, totaling $20,000.
