Matthew Scott Andrews passed away this evening, June 20, 2017, at Raleigh’s WakeMed Hospital after suffering sudden cardiac arrest a week earlier. He was 33 years old. Scott was a loving husband and father, a beautiful brother, a devoted son, a wonderful friend — and an all-around goofball. He had an infectious smile, a keen insight, and a remarkable ability to befriend, entertain, and inspire people he only just met.
Scott’s wife Angela, young daughters Ainsley and Harper, mother Sharon, sisters Allison and Traci, brothers-in-law Travis and John, mother-in-law Cissie and father-in-law Lenny Knott, and legions of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are in great need of your comforting thoughts and fervent prayers. The coming days, weeks, and months will be challenging for everyone.
