On October 5, 2018, John Thornton, RN, MSN passed away from complications from a brief, but courageous battle with lymphoma. John had just finished chemotherapy and was optimistically awaiting his clean bill of health when sepsis took over his weakened immune system.
He was working as the Emergency Department Manager at Cabinet Peaks Medical Center in Libby, MT at the time of his diagnosis and had been a nurse for 19 years.
John is survived by his wife of 27 years, Sheila; their two daughters, Hannah (15) and Rachel (13).
John's friends, colleagues and community would like to help ease the financial burden for the Thornton Family. The funds collected will go directly to his wife and daughters to help cover funeral, medical and ongoing expenses.
