Essentials for Maddielyn’s Mommy & Daddy

Maddielyn Faye Deaton was born January 26, 2021 at 12:27 am. She was born at 29 weeks, over 2 months before her due date. She was then transferred to Greenville Memorial Hospital where she is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Maddielyn will stay in the NICU until her due date, April 13. She has 2 sisters and 1 brother at home that are anxious to meet her!

Up until yesterday, January 31, Maddielyn’s mom has also been in the hospital recovering from an emergency c-section and has not been working since the middle of January. She will be out of work for approximately 6 weeks. Maddielyn’s mom was the sole financial provider for the family after her dad lost his job due to COVID. Maddielyn’s dad is still searching hard for a job. 

Maddielyn’s mom is staying at the Greenville Memorial Hospital with Maddielyn. Maddielyn’s dad is staying at their home in Walhalla which is a 1.5 hour drive. Her dad tries to make it down to see her a few times a week. 

Maddielyn’s family is asking for your support. The money raised will help pay for fuel for Maddielyn’s dad to drive back and forth. It will also help pay for essentials like, food, rent, power, gas, vehicle payments, phone bills, and vehicle insurance.
