Hurricane Ian has significantly impacted the lives of one of our fellow AHCA members, her family, and her business.

Many of you in the American House Cleaners Association's community know Christal Bosser of Mommy Maids in South Florida.

Crissy has helped many of you in the group level up your life and business, and now we all have an opportunity to help her get back on her feet.

"I’m Christal, the owner of Mommy Maids 24-7 based out of North Port Florida. As many are aware, we live along Florida's gulf coast, where Hurricane Ian left nothing but disaster, destruction, and devastation.

My family is safe and alive. Our home has some damage but not catastrophic like many of my neighbors. For this, I am eternally grateful.

We lost my primary transportation, which is also my work vehicle for my business, and I cannot work.

Power surges have also wrecked our washing machine that I use to wash our family's clothes, work cloths, and linens.

My son lost his car.

We didn’t have full coverage on our vehicles or renters insurance.

Because of the massive damage to my client's homes, I've lost most of my client's accounts.

I feel lost, devastated, and defeated. My husband & I poured our hearts & everything into building our cleaning business.

My family depends on my income. We are struggling immensely.

We are making do with food from the community outreach resources, but finding diapers for my son has been a struggle.

We've used cloth diapers before this storm, but without electricity, water, & a washing machine, we can't use them.

I drove around in a borrowed car yesterday, trying to offer help to my neighbors, but I didn’t even know how to help.

The immense loss & tragedy in our community is heartbreaking.

I am taking it a day at a time.

I am desperately clinging onto hope.

I am truly thankful for your prayers, encouraging words, motivation, and donations to help my family and I get back on our feet and back in business.
