River flooding has caused damage to our homeland, and I am asking for help for my mom, dad, siblings, and grandparents as they try to get through this. Right now, my family is unable to go home because there is still water, and they are temporarily staying elsewhere while they wait for it to be safe to return.

One of the hardest parts of this has been seeing the home my parents worked so hard on, and that us kids grew up in, filled with water. It is painful to see my family kept away from home and to face the immediate needs that have come with this disaster.
