Flood Assistance For Patty and Rene

My name Is Kathryn and I am the proud daughter of two amazing people, Patricia Baddeley and Rene Lalumiere, who were affected by the recent flood in Sainte Marthe sur le lac. With your help we would like to raise funds to help them get through this rough patch.
I am sure everyone is aware of the tragic and devastating flood that took place in Sainte Marthe sur le lac last Saturday evening on April 27th. Sadly, our parents were impacted as their home is located in the area that was flooded. They were advised to evacuate their home with no time to grab anything as the flood waters started rising very quickly on their street and up to their house. They left with the clothes on their back and nothing else.
Anyone that knows our family knows we are always there to help anyone in need and our parents truly take the cake when it comes to helping others, without hesitation. They take pride in helping out at the Legion in Deux Montagne, they help friends in need anytime of day, no matter what the situation and even random strangers that are in need of some kind of help, even if its just for a good laugh to help them get through the day. My parents are flat out amazing, seriously great and generous people and would never ask for anything in return… ever. Which is why we are taking it upon ourselves to reach out and ask for help in this devastating situation.
We are asking everyone in this time of need to take action and help our parents. They still do not know the extant of their loss other than the basement has water to the ceiling. They are currently living in a hotel at their own expense with their precious pup Bailey.
Most of the funds raised would go towards paying for accommodations and some every day items until they are able to get into their home.
Anything that can be donated would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small, really anything will help at this point. In donating it will help relieve some stress from our parents and give them a little less to worry about with all they have going on right now in this heartbreaking and devastating situation.
