Terry Beardsley's three-year-old grandson Truman Bohn was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer within the orbit of his eye.
Terry's middle daughter Beth, unfortunately, has had to take a leave of absence as a teacher this school year in order to care for Truman, which entails a weekly trip to Loma Linda Children's Hospital. Every Thursday, Truman must undergo a tedious chemotherapy treatment for the next six months.
We would like to try to help lighten the financial burden, leaving the family with one less thing to worry about. Thank you for your support, prayers and POSITIVE thoughts! Please do share with friends, and family that you feel might be inspired to support as well.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. Something I admittedly never knew until two weeks ago when Lance and I received the unimaginable news that no parent should ever hear- Truman was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer (Rhabdo). A rare muscle cancer within the orbit of his eye. - We went from what we were told was pink eye to cancer all within the matter of days. As parents you don’t think, you act. We drove to the closest children’s hospital where doctors figured out that Truman has a localized tumor behind his right eye and we were told he has an excellent prognosis! - As personal and emotional as this journey is, we can’t fight it alone. No one can. We need the love and support of our community, both near and far, so please keep our smiley little boy in your thoughts and prayers along with so many children who have fought and are currently fighting cancer! - Truman has already started his treatment process and continues to amaze us every single moment of each new day. Childhood cancer research needs more awareness and attention!! - The road ahead is full of unknowns but with your support, the power of prayer, and POSITIVE thoughts (only please) we are going to fight this with our TRU-hero - Team Truman
