Hi everyone,

 

As you know, my family and I are dealing with a lot. I have gotten the go-ahead from my parents to explain what is going on. As of right now, I am the primary caregiver for my brother. My brother was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about five years ago. His condition has progressed significantly. He needs 24/7 care. My mom used to do it all, but unfortunately, last Saturday, she ended up in hospital with pain in her stomach to the point that she could not stand. We were at the hospital for 13 hours. They did multiple tests; the last test was a CT scan where they found numerous lumps in the stomach and liver. The doctor confirmed that it was cancer. My mom is still in the hospital waiting for the biopsy to hear what level the cancer is; in order to start treatment. As of now, I had to stop working so I can be the main provider for my brother. Thankfully nurses do come to help, but someone has to be home at all times.

 

We wanted to start a Go Fund Me page for payments of legal documents. I will need to become a POA (power of attorney) for my parents. I also need to make up a will for both of them. Also for any unexpected costs that may come up. Right now, I am not working and waiting to be approved for EI. This has been a very challenging time for myself and my family. It would be greatly appreciated if you could help my family with any donations or by sharing this link.
