Cancer Sucks

My name is Jacquie , I am a friend of Amanda Lutricuso.

Amanda is a 35 year old wife and mother of 3 young children, MJ age 10, Mason age 8 and Anna age 6. Recently, Amanda was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC). TNBC is an aggressive type of tumor with faster growth rates, higher risk of metastasis and recurrence risk. Yes cancer sucks, no one should ever be put in the position to have to ask family, friends and strangers to help with medical bills---but here we are asking for help!

Amanda and her family recently purchased their first home. The joy and excitement of knowing they have a place to raise their 3 children; create memories and hope to grow old there. Now with the cancer diagnosis, Amanda has new worries, stress and fears. How will all the new medical bills get paid? How to decide what bills can be put off, in order to pay for the needed treatment; worrying about not just possibly losing her life, and her children growing up without their mom, but will this bankrupt them and they lose the home too. They have worked so hard for years to buy a home to have for their family. Yes, they have medical insurance, but they first have to meet the $5,000 deductible and then they are responsible for 30% of all medical bills and then there is the medication. Amanda is in the beginning stages of her cancer journey and is trying to remain positive and hopeful.

I am asking for any amount you can afford to contribute and donate in order to alleviate some of the stress and worries of the medical bills. Also, if you could please share Amanda's story with a friend, the more people that know and are able to contribute will allow Amanda the piece of mind to focus on a positive mindset, her health, and strength to fight this aggressive cancer.
