Fire Relief for Arielle & Kahlen

Hi, first off let me start off by saying I never thought I would need a “Go fund me account” but it was mentioned to me to make an account to see if my community and others would be willing to help in my time of need. My name is Arielle Thompson I'm 32 years old & I live in Charlotte,NC this past Friday on 3/30/18 my upstairs neighbors apartment caught on fire leaving my 12 year old daughter & myself without a home. The fire left my apartment damaged. All of our memorabilia, everytihing I've worked hard for as a single mother, my daugher's baby pictures, family pictures, christimas cards she drew for me in daycare and school are all gone!! I only have one child and even though I still have the memories that just doesn't compare, our furniture,Tv’s, towels,sheets beds everything is gone!!
When my daughter called me all I heard was screaming on the other end of the phone at that very moment I was so scared & I went straight into panic mommy mode. When I finally made it home from work and saw all the firefighters, news stations, police department & ambulance my heart sunk and all I could do is cry. I found my daughter& held onto her tight for as long as I could I was so hurt & in total shock. This is a mother's (a parent's) worst fear, not being able to be there during an emergency!!
During the time of the fire my daughter was home by herself since she is currently on spring break. I'm so greatful that she and everyone else was ok because things could have been alot worse. She has been really clingly and scared since this has happened. I’m just trying to bring our live's back to some type of normalcy. No one would ever want this to happen to them & I really hate it happened to us but I’m a firm believer that I will get everything back In due time. God makes no mistakes! I really just need funds to get back on my feet and start over again. If you have anything in your heart to give it is greatly appreciated thank you all & God bless. ❤️❤️
