Hi, my name is Kasi. My friend and her family (two daughters 15 & 8) were apart of an apartment fire around 2am Thursday December 2nd. The fire cause is unknown but thought to be electrical and starting in the attic of the home between two bedrooms. The bedrooms as you can see were destroyed either by flames, water and ashes. We are asking for any type of assistance to help this mother in need rebuild and provide a safe home for the holidays. It will takes months for the insurance company/ contractors to rebuild for the time being the family is being displaced and staying with relatives but they have no belongings. Clothes, shoes, school items, personal belongings, electronics were all destroyed including bedroom furniture. If you could donate even a small amount to help assist her it would be greatly appreciated. Even as little as a dollar helps in ways you cannot imagine.

You hear about these things happening on the news but you never imagine being woken up by your child gasping for air. I for one will be holding my little ones more tight tonight.
