John Pederson Fighting for Steps

On March 16, 2017, our friend’s father John Pederson, suffered a stroke, leaving his left side completely paralyzed. He’s had to fight for every step he takes.

It's now been two years and he continues to fight. He's been through hours and hours of physical, occupational & speech therapy. He's taken up pilates and horseback riding to work on his balance. He's been to China for Traditional Chinese Medicine and to South Carolina for hand therapy and golf lessons. He spends two days a week walking in an exoskeleton, all in order to retrain his brain that his left side is still there.

His family has been there for him every step of the way. Their courage and dedication is so inspiring! We would like to support them in any way we can. They found a special bike to help John! It is an adaptive bicycle designed for mobility, therapy, and freedom. The bicycle can be customized and adjusted to the exact specifications and unique requirements of the rider.
