Fighting Blood Cancer (AML)

Hi there, my Name is Cleo 28 years old and happily married for 6 years everything went well I have happy family here in Australia and in Philippines, all I want is just a simple life . But everything went upside down when I was diagnosed with aggressive type of blood cancer AML . (philadelphia chromosome)

 

I was feeling unwell since June 2021 I thought is just a normal side effect of my covid vaccination after a month I feel worst but I keep working because my doctor said my test are ok , not until July 29,2021 I went to hospital for medical investigation and while lying in the E.D the doctor told me my blood test result came back and I have cancer. I don't know how to react my heart rate was 135 /minute and temperature of 39.7 and Im just by my self no family member. I just pray to God to be with me because I don't know where to start and what to do.

 

Everything happened so fast they started chemo tablet the next day I woke up Im in Cardiac Care Unit. My husband still in shock can't believe about my diagnoses.

Day 2 in Hospital I started strong IV chemo , the 1st cycle of treatment it lasted 26 days then 1 week rest another cycle of chemo again. Blood infusions every time I have IV chemo treatment .

Now I am going to have 4th cycle of chemotherapy and to be honest Im in pain maybe because of the side effect of the chemo , but I need to have patience until my donor comes here in Australia. the next Treatment Plan is Stem Cell Transplant and my compatible donor is my brother from Philippines.I need to bring my brother here for the transplant With all this Pandemic situation everything is getting delayed in processing his requirements/documents .
I need to provide all his expenses coming over here.
I need to pay my take home medication after treatment and after the transplant.

 

I am not able to work since July and not even qualified for centerlink claims because I'm only 2years Permanent resident. 

 

I dont know when Im able to go back to work. I don't know how am I able to survive this physically in pain. Emotionally down and Financially very stressful. This cancer desease changed our life.
