Dear Friends and Family,
I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my brother, David Brackin, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer known as Sarcoma. Sarcoma is a very rare and uncommon group of cancers that arises in the bones and connective tissue. In David’s case, the Sarcoma began in the tissue that connects to the femur bone and was later found to have metastasized to other parts of his body including his lungs, abdomen, liver, and brain. Despite this diagnosis, I stand in awe of my brother’s courage, strength, and most of all his unrattled FAITH. He has such a positive outlook and continues to remind us that through it all, God is in control and needs to be honored and glorified.
Anyone who knows my brother, knows that he is one of the most humble and giving people on this earth. I say all this because David is unable to work and is entering into the early stages of treatment that will include numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery as well. He would never want for anything; however, he is currently in the fight of his life and needs help! His road to recovery will be long and hard (for both he and his family) so any donations (whether it be prayer, encouragement, monetary, etc.) would be so greatly appreciated! Please help us let David and his family (Martha, Gillian, and Hannah) know that he is loved and together we are all fighting alongside him!
