HELP ME BRING HIS LIGHT TO THE DARK

My name is Festus. I've been a nurse for about 6 years now. I love it and wouldn't change anything about my journey with it. As much as I love what I do, for a while now my real passion has been in the entertainment industry by way of modeling and acting.

Anyone who knows me, knows my genuine love for God and for all of Gods people. It wasn't until recently that I started to see Gods hand in my pursuit of this passion of mine. I feel more and more that God is calling me to this so that I can be the light in a dark industry.

I have been somewhat successful but I know God has more to offer to me. Recently I was presented with an opportunity by AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ) to take my passion a step further and be placed in front of the very people in this industry that we all work so hard to one day have a chance to audition for. I auditioned, did well, got a call back, and an invitation to join their bridge program. Its an extensive developmental program that ends with a one week SHINE conference in which you sit down with some of hollywood's best (20th century fox casting directors, Tyler Perry casting directors etc. )and showcase your talent. Unfortunally this SHINE conference and bridge program are pretty expensive. The cost for the entire program which will last about 4 months is $5,245.

I haven't worked as a nurse for 6 months now due to achilles surgery and complications with the expected recovery time, which makes this very hard to afford right now. Anyone who knows me, knows that Im not very good at asking for things, but I prayed about it and decided to put my pride aside. I decided not to let my pride stand in the way of a possible breakthrough as I pursue my caling.

AMTC made very clear to me that "IF YOU DONT ASK, YOU DONT RECEIVE". So I ask for your help in raising funds for this bridge program and SHINE conference. Anything at all you can afford to give would be very much appreciated and definitely not go unnoticed by me or by God. Of course, I will do my best to contribute to this as well, so any left over funds will be donated to a charity close to my heart. The donation will go to the less fortunate children of Belize, Central America, through The Body and Soul ministries child sponsorship program.
