Helping to educate girls in need

At the beginning of this year, I spent a month in Cara Girls Rescue Centre in Nairobi, Kenya with my mum. It was a really life-changing experience for me and ever since I've been wanting to help create a better life for the girls I spent time with. While the Kenyan government funds all primary education, many children get to about my age and find that they don't have the money to fund going to high school. One parent's annual full-time wage can be equal to a whole year of schooling in a public school, which for us is not much money. I would like to raise money to send one girl to high school. I met Priscillah in January and would love to see her fulfill her career dream to become a judge. I have asked for money instead of Christmas presents this year, and so for every dollar donated I will try to match it.
