On November 12, 2019, at 12:30 pm my brother Felipe, 18 years old, had a very serious motorcycle accident. My mother was working and I still can't imagine how she got this news. The policeman who helped him took the necessary and urgent measures to save my brother. Felipe was flown by helicopter to the Hollywood Regional Memorial Hospital and was promptly attended by Trauma ICU's team of first responders, doctors and nurses.

The quick action of the cops, first responders, doctors, nurses, along with our faith in God, was essential for mybrother to be alive today.

He had a very serious internal bleeding, cerebral hemorrhage and suffered fractures all over his body. He remained in a coma for 14 days and was in intensive careat ICU for 32 days.

He is currently admitted to Memorial Rehab and ispreparing Felipe and my Mother to return home and continue in-home treatment.

We do not know yet about definitive sequels, currentlyFelipe already responds to all stimuli and only his heelsand left foot continue sleeping. He will not be able to walk for at least 3 months due to very complex reconstructive surgery on his pelvis, the hardest hit organ.

Felipe is an 18-year-old with a beautiful life ahead, and we will do everything we can to help you. We know it won'tbe an easy battle, but we are and will always be by his sideand celebrate this victory together.

I know my parents will have a lot of expenses with health insurance, psychological treatment, home adaptation, medication ... so I took the initiative to ask for help on behalf of my brother and my family, so that financial issues would be one less concern for them.
