Thanks to everyone who helped make my first GoFundMe ever a success with over $2200 raised for 200 meals for the homeless of Chicago on Wednesday April 29th with our restaurant partner Naansense.  This success inspired me to find another local restaurant partner to work with and I found one at the George St Pub for CHI's Wednesday May 13th meal.

For those that did not see my first campaign, I am a volunteer with the Chicago Help Initiative (CHI) which provides meals and access to social service to homeless, underprivileged and unemployed Chicagoans.  For more information on CHI, please visit their website at:  (http://chicagohelpinitiative.org)

CHI provides daily hot meals at Chicago's Catholic Charities center in River North every week for over 200 guests.  These hot meals are typically donated by local restaurants.  

Due to the extraordinary impact of Covid 19 on our guests and the restaurant industry, I am raising money for the upcoming hot meal on Wednesday May 13 to support CHI's feeding of 200 guests and also to help support our local restaurant partner George St Pub.  http://gspchicago.com/

Your dollars will not only support our ability to feed our guests but also will help support a locally owned small business and it's employees.  

Any amount you can donate will make a difference as the cost of feeding just one guest is only $10.  

CHI is also actively seeking volunteers to provide bag meals for the overflow guests.  Please contact me if you are interested in assisting these efforts (any amount of meals will be greatly appreciated) and I can connect you with the service coordinator.
