To All "Feed OuR Warriors" (FRW) Supporters and Friends,
When we started this feedourwarriors campaign two weeks ago, we originally asked for $1000 to launch the program. You overwhelmingly responded by donating more than $10,000 to date! For that we are and will be forever grateful. Because of your generosity, we have provided over 600 meals to over 40 clinics and hospitals throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx.
In addition, we have over 600 more meals scheduled within the next 10 days; however; the need is far greater than any of us could have ever imagined. We still have another 2500+ healthcare workers waiting in our cue. We have hired a few extra people to help us but we are still coming up short. I think "we need a bigger boat"...
Today, we are increasing production by announcing a new addition to our @feedourwarriors campaign. We have invited Chef Esther Choi, owner of Mok Bar , to join us in our effort. Moving forward, Esther and her team will also be preparing meals out of their commissary in Brooklyn. Depending on clinic/hospital location and availability, menu items from @Mokbar_nyc or from FlipSigi will be provided to "Our Warriors" in need.
Starting immediately, we are increasing our contribution request to $25,000. This is the only way we can meet the current demand. Please forward this to any and everyone who can contribute. We also ask you to provide us with contact information for any essential clinics/hospitals in the 5 boroughs and Jersey City who are in need of some free meals, please direct them to our website feedourwarriors , or to me directly at [E-Mail ausgeblendet].

We at Flip Sigi (www.flipsigi.com ) want to feed the medical warriors while they continue to battle the COVID-19 pandemic in NYC.
By donating to this page, you will be helping to fund our effort to send prepared meals to various healthcare providers (nurses, doctors, technicians, administrators, etc.) during their long shifts. We have spoken to several healthcare professionals who are regular guests at Flip Sigi and each of them have expressed how helpful this effort would be; however, we cannot do this alone...we need your help.
We, along with Chef Esther Choi (@choibites) and her team at Mok Bar (@mokbar_nyc), will do the heavy lifting (purchase, prep, pack and deliver the food), but we need your support in funding this project. The more we raise, the more we can do!
As we have all heard, the importance of social distancing has been extended indefinitely. So, let's work together towards this common goal...'Feed Our Warriors!' These healthcare heroes are working bravely and tirelessly to care for our neighbors, friends and family.
Your generosity, no matter the amount can truly make the difference.
