Fawn's Gift Of Yoga Project

My name is Fawn Destiny. I’m a lover, healer and a mover and I know it’s in my cards to be a teacher. I see my next step in life as a yoga teacher.
I grew up in a tiny town called Gaston, Or. I managed to get through high school but spent a lot of time lost and unable to find structure. My school didn’t offer any movement arts, and without moving to a larger city and going to college, I never would’ve discovered there was something which could embrace and nurture the type of student I am. I’ve always been a happy person, held the wanderlust perspective, and found myself always pushing through any curve balls life threw my way.

My home, my family, my friends are the loves who shine brightly in my life. They keep me going everyday I enter the world. This past December, I drifted into one of the darkest places caused by the most traumatic experience of my life. I had a miscarriage; it was difficult to face, emotionally and physically toxic. It caused me to look at my life closely, and realized I needed to transform this stale energy into something positive and pursue happiness. It also occurred to me how important it is I focus on my dreams to be of service to myself and others who need light in the world.

Through Zenality Yoga’s teacher training program, I will learn self-care, meditation, and the tools to become an amazing teacher. I’ll plant seeds to help fulfill and heal children and adults as they face struggles life brings. This training is a 21day living yoga immersion with a rigorous schedule involving a 200 hour RYT complete yoga curriculum. I’m confident that in this environment my ability to absorb and succeed will finally shine. I will take my training and gift of yoga to schools, communities, and organizations for a full year at no cost.

By gifting my teaching free for a year, I want to open new doors for people to find happiness and take yoga to places where children and adults have never heard of it. I will document and interview students during my journey and I will constantly be growing into a better teacher each day. I ask for your help to transform my dream into a Gift Yoga Project for the world. In return, I will help others aspire to follow their hearts and accomplish their goals.
