FavTrip Employee gunned down in front of store

My name is Vincent, Ronald is my daughter’s fiancé. At 6:30am on Sunday the 13th my daughter Isabella awoke me hysterically saying Ronnie’s been shot dad!

we rushed down to his place of employment the FavTrip on 23rd in independence. Apron arrived they were leaving with Ronnie in the back of the ambulance. We noticed his motorcycle running on the ground, his helmet on the street and blood my the motor cycle.

this was no nightmare this was a reality and my heart sunk into my stomach.

he was hit twice, both in his right leg. One bullet went right through, the second bullet traveled up his leg and according to the doctors is too risky to remove at this time.

he’s currently recovering ❤️‍ in the hospital. But his medical bills are crazy already, not to mention Ronnie supports his home for the most part. he helps take care of his disabled father, and pays house hold bills!

ronnie is the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his own back. He’s thinking he will just go back to work… but that’s not going to happen. Ronnie won’t just accept help if he thinks it’s a hand out…I explained we’re asking for a hand up not out.

please assist us in helping him in his time of need.
