Father and Daughter's Tragic passing

Donation protected
Sunday, December 29th, at around 8:15pm our family was struck with such tragedy. We are not certain of any details of how the fire started but we believe the fire started from the front porch and worked its way underneath the mobile home eventually trapping  both Father and Handicapped Daughter inside. There is no doubt in our minds that he died tried to save his baby girl who was bed ridden.  Not only did our family lose two  beautiful and kind souls but everyone they touched lost something special as well. William Alan Gourley, 55, Was the most caring man we knew. If anyone needed something he was there no matter the time or the place. You do not see men like him anymore, a good man with old- fashioned values with the biggest heart.  He was the father of a blended family with 9 children and 19 grandchildren. He lived and loved for his family.  Betsy Irene Gourley,30, had the biggest and most infectious smile that could light up the room.  There was not a single day when Betsy boo wasn't happy and enjoying life with all who loved her. All she ever wanted was someone to hold her hand while listening to music. She will always and forever be our Baby girl.
Our family is reaching out to our community in hopes to gain help financially for not only one but two funerals.  Any little bit can help.
