Our beloved friend and lifelong, prison reform advocate Farrah Marisa gave birth to a precious little boy at 22.6 weeks this past Saturday January 7, 2018 at 3:31am.
Little Joaquin Alejandro Alvarez Myers, "her biggest gift in the world", squeezed her finger today and is holding strong in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in Valencia, CA.
Joaquin, which means "established by God", is her little warrior baby and a fighter. He comes from a lineage of warriors.
Farrah is humbling asking for prayers and financial support to help her with the loving care he is receiving, medical bills, housing costs so she can stay near baby, care for Mama, and time away from work.
