OUR STORY
Family Village, a revolutionary community and coworking center with on-site, drop-in childcare was built on a vision and a set of magical circumstances. We opened our doors in June 2018 for families seeking community, connection, childcare and a calm place to work. We are a place where parents can breathe, tend to themselves for a few moments (or a few hours), take fitness classes and find much needed support in a like-spirited community. With a renewed sense of purpose and belonging, moms are building businesses, getting support in life’s challenges and awakening to the idea that we can do more together. This is a place where moms are coming back to life and thriving. It is truly a magical space with magical human beings showing up every day.
We are a co-op run by a small staff and many dedicated members. Unlike most small businesses, we did not open using borrowed money or investments. Instead, we have been crowdfunded by a few incredible donors and around 100 devoted members.

OUR NEEDS
The financial leniency we’ve been afforded by our incredibly supportive landlords as we built our foundation has run dry. We have been given a few days notice to make up for the difference in rent that we owe from our inception. We are choosing to simply see this as an invitation to believe in magic again.
We are reaching out to our community to help us keep this dream alive and prove to ourselves and the world that the seemingly impossible is possible. We are looking to raise $15,000 in just 2 short days.
In the spirit of everything we’ve experienced in dreaming up, building of and thriving within Family Village, we know this concept is here to stay. It is necessary for the evolution of our modern-day society, putting community and collaboration in family-raising back on the priority list. And we know that we are game-changers, paving the way for other communities to begin to put family needs on the forefront.
While the spirit of Family Village will go on wherever it is physically located, our current location in downtown Longmont is accessible, affordable and feels like home. We hope to be here for years to come and are asking for your help to make that happen.
