Family loses everything in fire due to accident

Prayers needed for my cousin Skylar Sorensen and her family. An accident caused their truck to catch fire. They lost everything.  Any help is appreciated.  All money and donations will be given to the family.

The following is from the mother of the family

My daughter Skylar Sorensen & her family were hit by a truck tonight in Kansas, their truck that they were in is the truck on the right in the picture! My daughter’s legs got burnt, my 2 year old grandson Emric had to be cut out of the truck. They are alive thank God They lost everything. Their money, diapers, formula (bottle), car seats & even their shoes. I was planning on driving down to get them ASAP! The police department are putting them up in a hotel for the night, blessed that they can be there when I can’t.


The kids were moving to Arizona for the winter for work. As they were on there way they just got into kansas and one of the two vehicles broke down on side of road. The vehicle that broke down was pulling a trailer with all of there belongings for there kids and for themselves to have for there house. The other vehicle had three kids in the truck and two adults in front seat. As they were broke down on side of road a sheriff Deputy stopped to help them and he had his emergency lights on so we could be seen by traffic. A semi driver was not paying attention to the road and struck the sheriff truck throwing it in the ditch and the the semi struck the trailer causing it to ruptured the diesel tank. When that happened he sprayed diesel fuel all over every vehicle and then caught fire almost instantly after the semi hit all vehicles that were pulled over fixing the truck! They have lost everything they had for there family and there vehicles were completely totalled due to the fire!!
