On Saturday night, our family experienced a devastating loss; a fire tore through the house that Elena and Jonathan have lived in for 22 years, and Isabella and their dog Sparky has ever known as home. Thankfully, they are uninjured and safe, but they lost everything 90% from fire or smoke damage.

We want to meet every immediate need and help them quickly transition into some normalcy.
They are safe and sound. But they are definitely sad.
The sadness of a fire is heavy but the true devastation of losing the many personal and irreplaceable items that the insurance will not be able to replace. In addition to personal items, there were many tools and supplies that were lost. Things that Elena uses for her work that the insurance won't replace.
Right now, they are reeling. There is just so much to do, to say, and to think about.

More than anything, though, they are grateful. Grateful they escaped, grateful no one was hurt, grateful they are together, and grateful for you; your love, support, generosity, and offers to help are overwhelming and breathtaking.
No family should face this kind of hardship, especially during the holiday season. With your help, we can show them that they're not alone in this. Please consider donating or just sharing this. Every act of kindness, big or small, will bring them one step closer to rebuilding their lives.
Thank you to our lovely neighbors.
Thank you for your support and for helping as much as you can! I know it’s Christmas and money be tight! ❤️. These heavy losses are a little easier because of you.
Make an escape plan. Install smoke detectors on every floor of your home
Be safe.
